Originally born and raised on a farm in Washington, Maggie moved to Alaska two years ago. She used to train horses for numerous years before getting involved in small animal practice and worked at another local small animal practice. She enjoys Alaska with her husband and two children and one dog. Maggie joined Veterinary Specialists of Alaska in spring 2013. We are excited to have another smiling face greeting our clients at our clinic’s reception.
Lorraine Carol Jessica Kaye Simpson to Alaska in 1970. She graduated from Bartlett/Begich HS Anchorage in 1976, is an Honor Society Member and Charter Member of the MuAlphaTheta Club, graduated from Visalia College of Medical & Dental Careers/CST in 1982, and earned her BA at Chico State CA in Biology with Minors in Chemistry & Zoology in 1988. She worked at a large Alaskan outdoor activity store in retail and auditing, and was a real estate administrative assistant in the years from 1988 to 2003. She joined Veterinary Specialists of Alaska, P.C. in 2003, and is one of our great coordinators at the front desk. Like all our staff, she has a great sense of humor and a big heart, providing a warm welcome to everybody entering our clinic.
Georgie Littleton joined the staff at Veterinary Specialists of Alaska, P.C. in 2006 and works as a receptionist and a physical rehabilitation assistant. Originally from Boston, Massachusetts, Georgie has a Bachelor of Arts degree from Northeastern University and many years of experience in customer related service. She and her partner share a love of animals and live in Anchorage with their family of nine dogs.
