The surgery service at Veterinary Specialists of Alaska, P.C. was originally established in 1996 by Dr. Mike Edwards, as Alaska Veterinary Surgical Services. Over the years, our practice has expanded to include physical rehabilitation and veterinary dermatology. Because of the expansion of services offered, our name was changed to the current Veterinary Specialists of Alaska, P. C. also referred to as simply VSOA. Our surgical service offers state-of-the-art surgical treatment for small animal patients owned by local clients and for clients referred from veterinarians throughout the state of Alaska. Appointments can be made by calling our office Monday through Thursday 8am-6pm, and Friday 8am-5pm. We can provide transportation from the Ted Stevens Anchorage International airport for our patients arriving from out of town.
