MRI of a dogWe currently do not offer CT (computed tomography)or MRI (magnetic resonance imaging).

However, we have the opportunity to use MRI, the most advanced diagnostic imaging tool available, at a facility nearby. MRI allows more complete viewing of the body than any other modality and can be considered if other diagnostic modalities do not reveal a diagnosis. Common diseases diagnosed using MRI include spinal disk herniation, brain tumors, trauma of the brain and spine, strokes, and brain malformations. It is also a powerful tool for examining the skeleton, including bone, tendons, ligaments, and joints. If indicated for your pet, specific information on this diagnostic availability, involved logistics and image interpretation will be discussed in detail at the time of your appointment.

More specific information on these modalities is available in the submenu on the left side of your screen.
